Wooden Kragenrandschüssel

Wooden bowl found in one of the wells of the Saalburg Roman fort. Original in maple, here in oak. It copies the so-called Kragenrandschuessel type of Terra Sigilata, featuring a collar-like lip at the side of the bowl. This specimen is rather large with a diameter of almost 27 cm and about 11 cm high. Dated to the 2nd-3rd cent. AD.
