The Saalburg no. 218 is one of the finds of various types of low shoes dated to the 2nd half of the 2nd century AD. Although less heavily decorated than the Saalburg No. 221, it follows the same design principles.
This shoe has a goat leather upper, punched and cut out decoration and is done as an unnailed version here.
