Bonner Berg Calceus No. 4

A pair of 2nd century Roman calcei after a find from Germany, Bonner Berg. These are incredibly similar to a find from Mediobogdum, the Roman Fort at Hardknott in Cumbria, England, except that it lacks the stamped decoration. With their large cutouts on the vamp they cry for being worn with colored socks!
