Fittings for a Gladius Scabbard After a Find from Mainz

The original pieces of this gladius were found during earth works in Mainz in the early 1970s and date to the 2nd half of the 1st century AD. The reproduction features partial tinning known from other finds, together with repousse and chasing work.
